BRS Deputy Floor Leader and former Minister T Harish Rao launched a sharp attack on the Congress, questioning its alleged double standards on allowing PowerPoint presentations in the Assembly.

Recalling events from 2016, he said that when the Congress was in the Opposition, it had opposed audio visual presentations in the House and had even boycotted the proceedings. On March 30,

2016, the then TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy had written to the Speaker stating that Congress MLAs would not attend the Assembly if such presentations were allowed.

However, Harish Rao pointed out that the same Uttam Kumar Reddy, now serving as Irrigation Minister, made a presentation during a short discussion on “Krishna River Waters” in the House on Friday.
