BRS Deputy Floor Leader T Harish Rao on Sunday challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to dissolve the Assembly and seek a fresh mandate if he was confident of enjoying the people’s support.
Responding to the Chief Minister’s remarks at a public meeting in Nalgonda earlier in the day, Harish Rao accused him of diverting public attention from his government’s failures by resorting to personal attacks instead of addressing issues affecting the
people.
The former Minister said Revanth Reddy’s repeated criticism of BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao, BRS working president KT Rama Rao and himself reflected the Congress leadership’s growing political insecurity.
“If you truly believe your government enjoys public confidence and will remain in power until 2028 or even 2034, dissolve the Assembly and go for elections. Let the people decide who deserves to govern Telangana,” Harish Rao said while addressing party workers in Siddipet.
