Haj pilgrims told to pay first instalment

The Telangana State Haj Committee has asked pilgrims selected for Haj 2018 to pay the first instalment of Rs 81,000 towards expenses by February 5. Failure to do so would result in cancellation of the seat, the committee cautioned.

Further, it asked the pilgrims to pay Rs 1.20 lakh by March 20. The pilgrims were asked to pay the amount online or into the account at State Bank



of India provided by the Haj Committee. The amount could be paid online on www.hajcommittee.gov.in.

It asked the pilgrims to submit the bank challan receipt in the office of the State Haj Committee along with their original passports. Medical screening and fitness certificate, blood report and chest X-Ray by February 5.
