An orientation camp for those intending to take Haj pilgrimage this year was held at Savera Function Hall in Yousufguda on Sunday.

Mohd Masiullah Khan, Chairman, Telangana State Haj Committee, while speaking at the programme asked the persons scheduled to depart for the pilgrimage to take care of their health. He advised the pilgrims not to carry unnecessary luggage along with them so that they could concentrate fully on the pilgrimage.

Khan said the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh pilgrims flights would start from July 26. Noted Islamic scholar Moulana Mufti Tajammul Hussain Qasim spoke about Haj and Umrah rituals while Moulana Ilyas Ahmed Russhadi briefed about visit to the holy city of Madina Munawwarah.
