Gym trainer held for illegal sale of steroid injections in Hyderabad

The Task Force (West) team arrested a gym trainer for illegally procuring and selling steroid injections, allegedly used for bodybuilding and seized contraband worth Rs 1.20 lakh on Thursday.

The suspect, Rashid Matlub Khan (40), a resident of Jhirra, was found in possession of 100 bottles of Mephentermine Sulphate injections and was selling the



drugs without any licence or medical prescription, mainly targeting youths seeking rapid muscle growth.

According to the police, Rashid had procured the injections through a courier from Surat using his wife’s name and sold them at inflated prices. Earlier cases were booked against him at Attapur police station and other police stations in the city.
