Groom carried on shoulders due to flood water in Karimnagar

Groom was carried on the shoulders of the bride’s family members after floodwater overflowed a low-level culvert near Ganneruvaram mandal, Karimnagar on Wednesday.

The marriage of Komuramallu from Gunjapadugu in Jagtial district was fixed with Bhagya from Ganneruvaram, with the ceremony scheduled for 10.30

Komuramallu, who arrived in a vehicle with his family members and relatives, was unable to cross the culvert as water was flowing over it.

After waiting for nearly four hours, members of the bride’s family crossed the culvert carrying Komuramallu on their shoulders. The marriage was performed after the delay.
