Gram Panchayat Election Process Begins in Telangana

A total of 4,236 sarpanch seats and 37,440 ward positions across 189 mandals will go to polls in this phase. 

Collectors in the



respective districts are scheduled to issue election notifications on Thursday, marking the beginning of the nomination process. 

Nominations will be accepted until November 29, followed by scrutiny on November 30. Petition submissions regarding scrutiny decisions will be accepted on December 1 and resolved the next day.
