Governor Jishnu Dev inaugurates blood donation camp on World Blood Donor Day

Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, on Saturday inaugurated a voluntary blood donation camp at Samkruthi, Raj Bhavan Community Hall on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day 2025.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor who is also President of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Telangana State Branch, thanked all voluntary blood donors for their life-saving service, calling it an act



of ‘seva’, sacred service to humanity. He said their selfless contribution not only saves lives but also brings hope to countless families in distress.

He also praised the role of doctors and Red Cross volunteers in ensuring safe and efficient blood collection. Members of the Raj Bhavan Pariwar and security personnel actively participated and donated blood during the camp.
