Kavitha, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao cast their vote at the St. Nizami’s High School in Banjara Hills.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari exercised his franchise in the Teachers colony polling station at Hanamkonda,. AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, who is contesting from Chandrayangutta, cast his vote at Banjara Hills.

Telangana Principal Secretary for IT & Industries Jayesh Ranjan, IPS officer Swati Lakra, GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore exercised their franchise in Hyderabad.

Telugu actors turned



up early at the polling booths to exercise their voting rights. Telugu celebrities including Megastar Chirajeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, Nithin were among those who hit the polling booths early in the city. Not only did they cast their votes, but they also appealed to fans and residents of Telangana to exercise their voting rights by sharing pictures of their voting pictures on Twitter.

Nagarjuna and his wife Akkineni Amala in association with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation released a video stressing the importance of vote in a democracy. Manchu Lakshmi, Rana Daggubati, Director Koratala, Director Gopichand Malineni also asked the people to cost their vote and be a responsible citizen.
