Gold chain snatched from woman in Shamshabad

Unidentified persons snatched away a gold chain from a woman at Shamshabad on Saturday morning.

The woman, Jayamma, a resident of Kumuri Basthi in RGI Airport area, was sweeping in front of the house when an unknown person approached her. The man then flicked away the gold



chain weighing four tolas from the neck of the woman and escaped.

On a complaint, the RGI Airport police visited the spot and conducted enquiries. The police registered a case. The police are verifying the footage of the closed-circuit cameras installed in the area to get a clue.
