Golconda Police Apprehend Two Accused In Minor Girl Kidnap Case

On 21.11.2025 at 18:00 hours, Golconda Police received an English written petition from Smt. Nuzath Fatima, R/o  Kancha, reporting that her 4-year-old daughter Safiya Begum went missing after visiting her grandmother’s house. Despite extensive local search, the child could not be traced. Basing on the complaint, a case was registered in Cr. No.298/2025 U/s 139(1) BNSS, PS Golconda.

Immediately, special teams were formed, and police rushed to the reported area. CCTV cameras along the route were examined, wherein one suspect was seen kidnapping the minor girl while wearing a burkha, with the assistance of an auto driver Through continuous CCTV analysis the auto was identified as TS 15 U* 3***, and both the accused were traced and apprehended within 24 hours.

Mohammed Faiyaz, Age: 24 yrs, Occ: Auto driver, R/o Hakeempet, Tolichowki.

The accused, previously husband and wife, planned to kidnap a child to falsely project her as their own after reuniting, as the family of accused Faiyaz did not approve of their relationship. As part of the conspiracy, both accused abducted the 4-year-old girl from Saleh Nagar Kancha and kept her at the residence of A2.

Due to swift and coordinated efforts, Golconda Police successfully traced the child and safely reunited her with her parents.
