Godavari Pushkaralu 2027 works to begin in September: Sridhar Babu

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu said that works for the Godavari Pushkaralu–2027 would commence in the first week of September as the State government allocated Rs 1,000 crore for the conduct of Pushkaralu.

Chairing a meeting of the Godavari Pushkaralu–2027 Cabinet Sub-Committee here on Friday, he



directed officials to complete the tendering process by this month-end and ensure that the works begin as per schedule.

He directed the officials to appoint special officers for Tier-I locations expected to witness heavy pilgrim footfall and establish dedicated command and control centres at key locations.
