GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL) announced the commencement of new flight services from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad to Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), Hanoi with Vietnam Airlines. This nonstop flight service will operate every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Pradeep Panicker, CEO – GHIAL said, “this service addresses the growing demand for travel to Vietnam, which is one of the most searched destination for Indians. The new route will significantly enhance travel options for both leisure and business travelers from South India and from other regional locations who transit through the Hyderabad



Airport.”

Nguyen Trung Hieu, Country Manager India, Vietnam Airlines said, “South India continues to be a key growth region for Vietnam Airlines, and we are excited to commence direct flights from Hyderabad – one of India’s most vibrant and fastest-growing cities.”

The direct flights are expected to boost tourism in both directions, allowing Indian travelers to easily experience Vietnam’s cultural and natural attractions, while also providing Vietnamese visitors access to Hyderabad’s historical sites and modern attractions. For Indian travelers, Vietnam offers a streamlined visa process with pre-approved visa-on-arrival and e-visa options.
