Girls outshine boys in SSC advance supplementary exams

Girls out shine boys in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) advanced supplementary examination. As many as 12,536 students passed the examination out of which 6,903 were boys (12,829 appeared) and 5,633 girls (appeared 8,894). 

The total pass percentage of



girl students was 63.35 and boys 53.83 per cent (total 21,723 students appeared in the exam).  The District Educational Office on Thursday announced the SSC advanced supplementary examination results. The pass percentage of the city students was 57.71 per cent.
