Girl sexually assaulted by youth she met on Instagram in Borabanda

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old youth whom she met on Instagram in Borabanda.

The suspect, identified as Vinay from Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh, visited the girl’s home twice in June, while her



parents were away, and allegedly assaulted her.

The girl alleged that she was promised marriage but was later refused by the suspect.

Based on the complaint, the Borabanda police registered a case and are investigating.
