Amid this political drama, BJP MLA Raja Singh alleged that Konda Surekha is being pushed out of the party not for political reasons, but allegedly because of a dispute over the distribution of money shares.

He claimed that corruption has always been synonymous with the Congress party. Adding another layer to the controversy, Surekha's daughter, Suhsmitha, has reportedly made corruption allegations against the Telangana Chief Minister.
