Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in association with Medical and Health Department and other departments will launch a massive drive to take up precautionary measures to control communicable diseases such as Dengue, Malaria and other diseases in the next 10 days.

During a meeting, here, on Thursday, GHMC Commissioner, Dana Kishore said measures such as anti-larval and fogging operations would be taken up extensively at all the identified places in



Hyderabad.

The GHMC Entomology, Public & Health, Malaria Wings officials will form 30 different teams to take up awareness campaigns in the coming days. Mobile numbers of 10.60 lakh property tax payers were available with the GHMC and 9.6 lakh numbers of domestic tap connections with HMWS&SB. A message as being sent to all of them to coordinate with GHMC and follow the precautionary measures to control the communicable diseases, he said.
