The GHMC will run mobile courts to levy penalty on businesses that were running without a trade licence. A week ago mobile courts were set up to deal with those found urinating in public places.
The mobile courts are proposed to be set up in all the GHMC circles, for the first time in 15 years.  The decision was taken after First Metropolitan Magistrate (Mu-nicipal Court), P. Anjaneyulu wrote to the GHMC.
“GHMC officials will issue spot challans for violations under the Corporation Act. It will penalise people found littering,” said GHMC commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy.
