GHMC to hold its general body meet on November 25

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will hold its 12th GHMC meeting on November 25 at the head office. This could be the last meeting for this body, which was elected in February 2021. The five-year tenure of the present GHMC body concludes in February



2026.

At present, out of 150 corporators, the GHMC has 146 corporators. Party-wise, the corporators include BRS with 40, AIMIM with 41, Congress with 24 (including those who defected from the BRS), BJP with 41 and four seats are vacant after two died and two corporators resigned on being elected as MLAs.
