GHMC plans to eradicate Measles Rubella

GHMC Commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy, Commissioner, has held a meeting with the Additional Commissioners Adwait Kumar Singh,  Bhaskara Chary,  Ganesh, CMOH, State Immunizing Officer  Srinivas, Dr. Padmaja, Health Officers at GHMC Head Office.

While interacting with the officials the Commissioner, GHMC said that the Government of India is



planning to completely eradicate the Measles in the entire country by vaccinating the children for which awareness programme to the parents, children’s and educational institutions about the ill effect of the disease.

The Commissioner further stated that Self Help Groups under UCD wing will coordinate for taking up the programme.
