GHMC penalised Uppal MLA of Rs 1.2 lakh for setting up banners

TRS Uppal MLA Bethi Subhas Reddy was penalised of Rs 1.2 lakh by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for setting up advertisement elements and banners.

The GHMC’s Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance & Disaster Management



(EVDM) imposed the penalty on Thursday for unauthorised advertisement elements and banners that were set up in Habsiguda.

The issue was brought to the notice of EVDM’s central enforcement cell through Twitter following which the penalty was imposed.
