GHMC 'Pay property tax by March 31 to avail 90 pc interest waiver'

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued a final call to taxpayers to utilize the One-Time Settlement (OTS) scheme before the March 31 deadline.

With only one day remaining to claim a 90 percent waiver on interest for outstanding property taxes, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan urged residents on Monday to clear their dues immediately.

Under the OTS scheme for the 2025-26 period, the state government is



offering a 90 percent discount on interest for those who settle their arrears by the end of this month. Commissioner Karnan clarified that payments under this scheme will only be accepted through online platforms.

Residents can complete their payments via the official portal (www.ghmc.gov.in), the MyGHMC app, Mee Seva centers, or Citizen Service Centers. The Commissioner emphasized that timely tax payments are vital for the city’s ongoing development.
