GHMC panel approves railway overbridge

The standing committee of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) approved the construction of a railway overbridge in Secunderabad circle on Thursday.

The committee also approved the proposal of 28 movable hydraulic bollards at an estimate cost of Rs.2.38 crore. The bollards will be a part of the



Charminar Pedestrianisation Project (CPP) which is coming up to prevent vehicles from getting near the monument.

The proposal to construct a storm water drain at Bhavani Nagar in Mallapur at an estimated a cost of Rs.3.70 Crore was also approved.
