The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) organized a Puppy Adoption Mela at Jalagam Vengal Rao Park, drawing enthusiastic participation from citizens eager to welcome Indian dog breeds into their homes. 

The event was inaugurated by GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, along with Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner Anurag Jayanti, Chief Veterinary Officer Sri Vakeel, and other GHMC



officials. 

The mela showcased a variety of vaccinated and healthy Indian breed puppies, all ready for adoption. 

The initiative not only aimed to promote the adoption of Indian dog breeds but also to encourage responsible pet ownership. Citizens responded with great interest, with many stepping forward to adopt and provide loving homes to the puppies.
