GHMC Launches Mega Special Sanitation Drive Across 300 Wards

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (#GHMC) successfully commenced a Special Sanitation Drive across the city, marking a major step towards strengthening urban cleanliness following the recent ward delimitation. 

The large-scale initiative aims at removal of long-pending legacy waste, elimination of sanitation gaps, and improvement of overall hygiene standards across all wards, with a strong focus on visible and measurable outcomes at the ground level. 

Officials have been directed to effectively



implement the Special Sanitation Drive at the field level, ensuring coordinated action and strict supervision. 

The drive is being closely monitored by ZonalCommissioners and DeputyCommissioners, who are conducting on-ground inspections across their respective jurisdictions to ensure timely execution and 100% coverage.  

Emphasis has been laid on inter-departmental coordination, efficient deployment of manpower and machinery, and sustained monitoring to achieve comprehensive sanitation improvements.
