GHMC Directs Closure of Sheep, Goat and Cattle Slaughterhouses on Sept 4

As per the notice issued under Section 533(b) of the GHMC Act-1955, the decision has been



taken considering the significance of Janmashtami. 

The GHMC Commissioner, R. V. Karnan, has requested the Commissioners of Police of Hyderabad to extend full cooperation to the municipal authorities in enforcing the closure of all the sheep, goats and cattle slaughterhouses apart from meat and beef shops in the GHMC limits.
