GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan inspects Shilpa Layout flyover

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner RV Karnan has directed officials to expedite the beautification works of the Shilpa Layout Phase-2 flyover, which is nearing completion and will soon be opened to traffic.

The Commissioner inspected the flyover on Tuesday, which has been constructed from the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to Gachibowli at a cost of Rs. 178 crore. With civil



works completed, he instructed officials to finish the remaining beautification and greenery tasks immediately.

Karnan also directed engineering officials to install transfer bars (rumble strips) as per Indian Roads Congress (IRC) guidelines.

Further, he asked officials to inspect the Gachibowli and Hafizpet flyovers and prepare proposals for additional development works.
