GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan inspects development works in Saroornagar

The GHMC Commissioner, RV Karnan, on Thursday, inspected various development works in Saroornagar Circle of LB Nagar Zone.

During the visit to Venkateswara Colony, representatives of the residential welfare association explained the problems related to the colony, and Karnan ordered the zonal and deputy commissioners to resolve those issues immediately.

He instructed the engineering officers to inspect the box drain works in Gaddiannaram Division and complete them immediately, and also inspected the waterlogging point in Vallabha Nagar.

Meanwhile, the 3rd Standing Committee meeting



held under the chairmanship of Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi approved 14 items and three table items.

The approved items included acquisition of 102 properties for increasing the Master Plan road width from 24 metres to 30 metres from Darussalam Junction to Malakunta Road to OGH, acquisition of 278 properties for the proposed 18 metres to 24 metres road development plan from Puranapool to Karwan Sahu via Kamela, acquisition of six properties for construction of a 34.50 metres wide road from Sultan-UI-Uloom College of Law to Jalagam Vengalrao Park proposed to be 30 metres wide.
