GHMC acquires electric vehicle

After municipal administration and urban development (MAUD) minister KT Rama Rao announced that electric vehicles will be introduced to replace diesel trucks used in garbage collection, GHMC

ordered one electric auto for garbage collection on Monday from Hyderabad-based Gayam Motor Works (GMW). The running cost of electric auto is as low as Rs.0.50/km.
