Ganesh idol stolen from workshop in Medak

Unidentified miscreants stole a Ganesh idol from an idol-making unit on the outskirts of Medak town on Tuesday night. The idol manufacturers had placed several idols in a makeshift hut along the roadside.

When they returned on Wednesday morning, they discovered that



one idol was missing. Upon checking CCTV footage, the unit owners found that four individuals had taken the idol in an auto-rickshaw.

A case was registered immediately. Police are reviewing the footage to identify the vehicle and those involved in the theft.
