Future City Police Hold 5-Day Training on Tech, Modern Policing

As part of an initiative by Commissioner of Police, Future City, Dr. Tarun Joshi, IPS, a comprehensive five-day training programme is being conducted to strengthen the technological and investigation skills of personnel of the Future City Police Commissionerate. 

Circle Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors and other police personnel are participating in the programme, which focuses on the effective use of modern software applications, digital policing tools and Artificial Intelligence in



day-to-day policing and investigations.

The course covers CCTNS, FIR-to-charge sheet procedures, intelligence and field tools, eSakshya, eSummons, cybercrime platforms, criminal justice systems, social media and OSINT tools, and AI-based policing applications.

Special emphasis is being given to practical investigation skills, cybercrime response and the use of AI in areas such as facial recognition, CCTV analytics, biometrics, translation, cyber forensics and crime analysis.
