Future City Inspector Gets Bronze Medal at Shooting Championship

Inspector B. James Babu of the Future City Police Commissionerate has secured a bronze medal in the standard pistol event at the 17th south zone shooting championship – rifle and pistol 2026, held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. 

His achievement has brought recognition to the Future City Police Commissionerate and the Police Department, reflecting his sustained practice, discipline and determination in competitive shooting while effectively discharging his professional responsibilities.

James Babu expressed his sincere gratitude to Dr. Tarun Joshi, Future City Commissioner, for his



continued encouragement, support and motivation towards sporting excellence among police personnel. 

He stated that the encouragement extended by the Commissioner has been a strong source of inspiration to pursue excellence both in policing and competitive shooting. “I dedicate this achievement to the blessings of God and to the constant encouragement and support of my senior officers, colleagues, family and fellow shooters.
