Veteran Congress leader and former minister Ramareddy Damodar Reddy, a five-time MLA from Nalgonda district breathed his last earlier today at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. He was 73. Reddy, who was battling health issues for several months, succumbed to his illness despite medical efforts, according to sources close to the family.

His condition had



deteriorated rapidly in recent days. Reddy represented the Tungaturthi and Suryapet Assembly constituencies multiple times. During the tenure of the late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

Damodar Reddy served as the Minister for Information Technology. Reddy’s final rites will be performed on October 4 evening at Tungaturthi in Suryapet district.
