Fire guts plastic unit at IDA Bollaram

Sangareddy: A massive fire broke out at Veer Plastics Limited in the IDA Bollaram industrial area during the early hours of Saturday. Fortunately, no staff were present inside the unit when the fire erupted.

Upon receiving an alert from the security personnel, fire tenders were rushed to the spot.



Firefighters were engaged in efforts to prevent the blaze from spreading to adjacent industrial units. However, material stored inside the facility was completely destroyed.

The extent of the damage is being assessed by the management and officials.
