A fire broke out in a multi-storey residential building in Red Hills,Hyderabad, on Monday. No casualties or injuries were reported. Fire fighters safely evacuated 23 residents.

The incident occurred at Sameena Manzil, located opposite Tin Shed Masjid in Nampally, a building comprising a ground floor, three upper floors and a penthouse. Preliminary investigation revealed that the fire originated in the drawing room of the third floor due to



electrical short circuit.

Amberpet Fire Station personnel responded immediately after receiving the emergency call. Using water tenders, the team brought the flames under control before the fire could spread to other parts of the building.

At the time of the fire, several families were inside the building. Firefighters carried out a coordinated evacuation, moving all occupants to safety on the ground floor.
