In a disturbing incident of animal cruelty, the Hyderabad City Police with the help of PETA India and a local caregiver, have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against a man for allegedly running over a puppy with his car in Saroornagar.

The incident took place on January 2, when a vehicle was caught on CCTV



slowly approaching a group of five puppies before crushing one under its wheels. 

The driver did not stop or offer assistance, leaving the animal dead. When confronted by the local caregiver Sonali Bhowmick, the accused, identified as Shravan, was reportedly recorded stating, “I don’t want any dog over here.”
