Finance Commission team will on 3-day visit to Telangana from today

Full team of the 15th Finance Commission will be on a three-day visit to Telangana from today. The team will be headed by Chairman NK Singh.

The Commission will hold meetings with representatives of Panchayat Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies this afternoon. It will meet the representatives of all political parties separately and hold detailed

discussions with the state government.

The Commission will also hold a meeting with eminent economists led by YV Reddy and representatives of business and commerce associations. It will also discuss on the draft report of Evaluation of State Finances of Telangana at the Indian School of Business.
