Father And Son Get Life Term in 2023 Adilabad Murder Case

A 51-year-old person and his son got life imprisonment in a murder that happened in 2023 in Ichoda village in Adilabad district. 

The court has also imposed a fine of Rs. 1,000 on the accused V Pandu Ranga and his son Suryakanth (27), both residents of Ichoda. 

According to court liaison officer Ganga Singh, the father and his son killed Eashwar Rao in December 2023 at Ichoda and Sirichelma



crossroads by attacking him with a hammer, axe and knife following a dispute over an acre of agricultural land in the village.

Based on a complaint lodged by Rao's wife Kavitha, the police booked a murder under Section 302 and arrested Pandu and Suryakanth.

After arguments and counter arguments and examination of 20 witnesses, the court held them guilty in the case and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
