The Telangana People’s Joint Action Committee (TPJAC) organised a public hearing on the Pharma City and Future City projects and issues concerning land acquisition at Tathiparthy village on Sunday. Interestingly,
several local Congress leaders also raised objections to the State government’s land acquisition. Former MLA and AICC Secretary C Vamshi Chand Reddy also participated in the programme, reports said.
The farmers voiced strong opposition to the alleged irregularities and forcible land acquisition process. They unanimously declared that they opposed the Pharma City and Future City projects and pledged that they would not part with their lands.
