Dairy farmers from Mushaptal village in Mothkur mandal staged a protest outside the Mother Dairy milk chilling center in Yadadri Bhongir on Wednesday, locking its gate. They demanded payment of bills for the milk collected from them. The bills were pending for three months.

The Mother Dairy Chairman Madhusudan Reddy, when contacted over the phone by

the protesters, had allegedly threatened them, stating that protests and locking gates would not be tolerated and warned them to stop their agitation immediately. The farmers condemned his remarks, accusing him of intimidating them.

The protest saw participation from several farmers, including dairy farmers’ society chairperson Kavitha from Mothkur.
