Farmers demand immediate payment for jowar procurement in Adilabad

Alleging delay in payment for jowar procured by the government, farmers staged a sit-in protest in front of the Tahsildar office at Bazarhathnoor mandal centre on Tuesday, demanding immediate disbursal of dues.

The protesting farmers said the State government had



procured jowar from them several months ago but had not paid for it yet. 

They expressed anger over the delay, stating it was unjust to inconvenience those who feed the nation. Raising slogans against the government, they demanded swift action to clear the pending dues.
