A farmer collapsed after suffering seizures while standing in the queue for urea at the old bus stand in Mahabubnagar town on Saturday morning.

Former Minister V Srinivas Goud, who was in the area to meet farmers, rushed the man to hospital in an ambulance. However, his identity and

condition were not immediately known. Farmers at the spot said he had been waiting since early morning, like many others, for urea supplies.

Speaking to reporters at the scene, Srinivas Goud said the incident exposed the Congress government’s failure in ensuring adequate stocks of urea for farmers.
