Family reports Rs 20 lakh cash, four tolas gold lost 'Vikarabad Fire'

A family suffered a major financial loss after a fire gutted their house at Bandivada village in Doulatabad mandal, of Vikarabad district on Saturday, reportedly destroying cash and gold valuables kept inside.

The fire broke out at the residence of



Bandi Anjappa and quickly spread through the house. The family put the loss at nearly Rs.20 lakh in cash and four tolas of gold.

On being alerted, police reached the spot and inspected the premises. A probe has been launched to determine how the fire started.
