Family members of candidates in the Jubilee Hills by-election have become an integral part of the campaign, adding an emotional touch as they reached out to voters across key areas in the constituency. The by-election is scheduled for November 11.

For instance, Maganti Sunitha’s daughters, Akshara Nag and Disira, campaigned at Lakshmi Narasimha Nagar (LN Nagar) in Yousufguda, urging voters to support their mother, the BRS candidate. Both sisters folded their hands

and appealed to voters to vote for the ‘Car’ symbol. They also showed a dummy ballot unit and explained that their mother was contesting, urging voters to support her.

The sisters took part in the campaign for the first time in the past three weeks following the sudden demise of their father, BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath. Gopinath had one son, M Vatsalyanath, and two daughters, M Akshara Nag and M Disira. Initially, the son took part in the campaign to support his mother
