Falaknuma police organise essay competition 'Drug Free India'

An essay writing competition was organised by the Falaknuma police at the Government High School Jangammet on Wednesday.

Around 100 students participated in the program held in Urdu, English and Telugu languages.

A Seethiah, Inspector, Falaknuma Police Station, said that the main objective of the programme is to create awareness among the



students about the ill effects of drug abuse and promote a drug-free India.

An awareness programme was also organised at the school to highlight the ill effects of drug abuse.

Shaik Abdul Raheem, sub-inspector of Falaknuma police station, requested the students to educate their friends, neighbours and family members about the danger of drug abuse.
