Exit polls projected a close contest in the Jubilee Hills by-election which concluded on Tuesday, with the BRS holding a lead over the ruling Congress. The election results will be announced on November 14.

According to three major agencies i.e. Mission Chanakya, National Family Opinion, and Q Mega, the BRS appears poised to edge ahead. All three surveys suggested that the BRS has managed to retain its urban vote base, while the Congress appeared to have consolidated some sections of new voters. The BJP remained a distant

third.

Mission Chanakya predicted 41.6 per cent votes for the BRS, against 39.43 per cent for the Congress and 18.97 per cent for the BJP. The National Family Opinion survey showed a similar trend, giving the BRS 44.49 per cent, Congress 39.24 per cent, and BJP 10.93 per cent.

The Q Mega exit poll also placed the BRS in front with 45 per cent votes, with scope for an additional two per cent votes. The Congress was projected at 41 per cent and BJP at 9 per cent, both holding chances of increasing margin by an additional two per cent votes.
