Excise Dept seizes 1.6 kg of ganja in Dhoolpet, one arrested

 The Prohibition and Excise Department officials on Wednesday caught a man at Dhoolpet and seized 1.606 kilograms of ganja from him.

On a tip-off, the special team caught Shanker Singh, a resident of Dhoolpet, while he was transporting the ganja in



an auto rickshaw. The officials seized the ganja. On questioning, Shanker said that two persons, Sandhya Bai and Akhilesh Singh, had given him the ganja and he planned to sell it.

A case is registered against Sandhya Bai, Akhilesh Singh and Shanker Singh.
