Excavation works near KBR Park trigger traffic jams

Ongoing earth excavation works for the flyovers and underpasses surrounding the KBR Park led to significant traffic jams, prompting the special chief secretary to advise the deployment of huge men and machinery to manage the situation.

Over the past three weeks, the GHMC has taken up deep earth excavation works near KBR Park, resulting in over 60



percent of the main stretch from KBR Junction to Mugdha (Lotus Pond) traffic junction and vice versa being blocked.

As a result, the traffic during peak hours is facing hardship. The Hyderabad traffic police also imposed traffic restrictions on this stretch and advised daily commuters to choose alternative routes to reach the main roads and avoid inconvenience.
