Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday urged Union Minister for Steel and Heavy Industries H.D. Kumaraswamy to set up a Green Steel Plant in Bayyaram. 

He said that establishing a Green Steel Plant would not only reduce the shortage of steel but also benefit the environment. Revanth Reddy met Kumaraswamy and Minister of State for Steel Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma in Delhi on Saturday morning.

Ministers the industrial proposals prepared as part of the Telangana Rising–2047 Vision.

The Chief Minister requested the Union Ministers to establish a steel recycling industry in Telangana using scrap from old vehicles. 

He explained to the Union Ministers that, due to the availability of technology, heavy industries, and favorable conditions for industrial production, Hyderabad could become a hub for achieving the country’s industrial production targets.
