“It’s my hand, my gun and my game. Once I have lined up to shoot the target, I just switch off to avoid any kind of distraction and focus on the task,” said shooter Esha Singh, who won gold in the recent World Cup in Munich.
Speaking at the felicitation function put up by Lifespan Private Ltd after she won the World Cup gold recently, for which she is the brand ambassador, Esha reminded that there will be pressure in
any competition.
“Yes, some chill out before the start of the event. Some girls love to chit chat, some tend to be serious. But, personally, once closer to my turn of shooting, I just switch off mentally and try to stay focussed,” the champion shooter said.
“It is great to win a World Cup gold and it could not have come at a more appropriate time than ahead of the Asian Games later this year,” she said.
